Websites, apps & booking systems built for small business

Technology within everyone's reach

The Problem

Most small businesses are stuck offline

No real online presence

Barbershops, clinics and boutiques run on word-of-mouth and Instagram DMs, with no website or booking system behind them.

Walk-in queues lose customers

Customers wait in line with no way to see availability or book ahead, so they simply leave and don't come back.

Priced out by agencies

Traditional agencies quote R65,000+ for a website and R250,000+ for a custom app, far out of reach for most SMBs.

That gap, underserved and priced out, is exactly who ARx Intelligence is built for.

Market Opportunity

Priced out of the market we're built for

Boutique agencies charge R65,000 to R250,000 for a small-business website, and custom booking or portal apps start around R250,000 and climb past R1,650,000 for real complexity. Those numbers price out the vast majority of local SMBs, who are left choosing between a template that doesn't fit how they work, or nothing at all.

Our Story

From public libraries to small business, the same mission

In 2001, our founders saw a critical gap: communities in under-resourced areas of the Western Cape had no way onto the internet, no way to build a CV, search for work, or reach the information everyone else took for granted. They piloted a thin-client access solution at Athlone Library. It worked, and the City of Cape Town adopted it citywide, still running today as the SmartCape Access Point Project.

2001

Pilot at Athlone Library

A thin-client access solution brings the internet to an under-resourced community for the first time.

City-wide

Adopted by the City of Cape Town

The pilot scales into the SmartCape Access Point Project, still running in libraries today.

Today

That mission becomes ARx Intelligence

The same conviction, technology within everyone's reach, now applied to small business.
